De serie, el Clase C carga en alterna a 11 kW, y Mercedes ofrece como opción un cargador de a bordo de 22 kW, de modo que el cable de carga para el Mercedes-Benz Clase C eléctrico debe valer para ambos. Las viviendas españolas tienen casi siempre suministro monofásico, y con él el Clase C toma 32 A de una sola fase si la potencia contratada lo permite: 7,4 kW, que en las 12 horas de una noche suman unos 75 kWh, suficientes para unos 600 km según WLTP. Con un cable de 16 A, ese mismo wallbox no pasaría de 3,7 kW. En los puntos de carga trifásicos de 22 kW, la versión con el cargador opcional necesita unas cinco horas para cargar la batería entera desde cero, y la de serie, con 11 kW, tarda unas diez.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSi aparcas marcha atrás, la tapa de carga del Clase C termina pegada al muro, y si el wallbox queda del lado de la tapa, seis metros de cable son suficientes. Si entras de frente, casi los 4,88 metros del coche separan la tapa de la pared, así que conviene elegir ocho metros. Con un segundo coche aparcado delante del wallbox, la medida sube a diez metros si entras marcha atrás y a 15 metros si lo haces de frente.
