Se fabricará en Spartanburg, en Estados Unidos, a partir de diciembre de 2026, BMW acepta pedidos desde octubre de 2026, y la tapa de carga se abre sola, en la parte trasera derecha.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2\u003e¿Qué cable de carga necesito comprar para el BMW iX5?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePara el BMW iX5 conviene nuestro \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/cable-de-carga-de-tipo-2\"\u003ecable Voldt® Tipo 2 de 22 kW\u003c\/a\u003e, que lleva 32 A por cada una de sus tres fases, de modo que un wallbox o un poste público de 22 kW cargan el coche a plena potencia: BMW da 7 h 30 min de carga completa. Sin embargo, la mayoría de las casas en España tienen suministro monofásico, y BMW aún no ha publicado la cifra monofásica del iX5. Para el iX3, de la misma generación, indica 7,4 kW a 32 A, con lo que una noche de 12 horas con un wallbox de 32 A en una sola fase podría aportar unos 75 kWh, aproximadamente la mitad de la batería, si la potencia contratada da para ello. Con un cable de 11 kW el coche quedaría limitado a 3,7 kW en monofásico y a 11 kW en trifásico.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSi metes el iX5 marcha atrás, la tapa trasera derecha queda pegada a la pared, y un wallbox de ese lado queda cubierto con seis metros de cable. De frente, la tapa queda al fondo de un coche que mide casi cinco metros y el cable debe recorrer todo el costado derecho, así que hacen falta ocho metros. Con otro vehículo entre el iX5 y la pared, compra diez metros si aparcas marcha atrás y 15 metros si entras de frente.
